Retreat to the Mountains for the Gesundheit
Spend a month in the beautiful Appalachian valley in rural West Virginia engaging in the study and practice of compassion at the Gesundheit Institute.
Patch Adams and the Gesundheit Institute are offering a month-long course: "Humanistic medicine: constructing your humanism." The course runs September 29 through October 23, 2008. Several spaces still remain.
We invite all interested stakeholders in health care to participate: medical and nursing students, pre-med students, health care providers, community dreamers. Elective credit can be arranged. Instruction by board-certified physicians of the Gesundheit Institute.

Cost: $600, which covers tuition, room, and board for four weeks.
